Tips to have a healthy, happy, balanced life!

Hello world!

So lately I've been exploring different things and routines to add to my life, and today I'm happy to share those with you. From trying to make more homemade meals, to changing my whole playlist and adding new stuff that I'm more into nowadays. It sounds mom-ish or whatever, whereas it's called enlightenment or self-discovery, I am truly enjoying this path, and I'm thrilled to share it with y'all today!

1. Sleeping 7-8 hours consistently affects you in many positive ways

My goodness, I cannot emphasize this one enough! It took me forever to understand the value of sleep and how important it is for your overall happiness and health. I think the circumstances were different as well, since I was in college and homework would take over my life.
I've been sleeping my hours, and not using my technology before bed. It was a bad habit, if I wasn't tired then I'd be on my phone, which would make me more awake. You will feel proud of yourself for going to bed at a reasonable time, and actually look forward to getting all your tasks done the next day.

2. Having regular eating times helps your metabolism
Whatever your schedule is, try to eat around the same times and vary your foods.
Drink plenty of water, try to watch what you eat and keep it balanced.

3. Having a routine reduces anxiety
Plus you get a lot done! If you have an idea what your day may look like, well sometimes it can be stressful, but it is always good to be prepared somehow, and maintain a positive attitude.

4. Pray/meditate (Relaxation techniques)
Whereas it's doing Yoga, praying to God, journaling, going for a walk, whatever the case may be, I think it's truly important to SLOW DOWN!
As for me, I try to save up to get a pedi, a massage, or a mini getaway. It is good to unplug, especially us who are always working on our computers, phones, and dealing with busy schedules.

5. Embrace your loved ones/quality time
Whereas it's family, friends, coworkers, or spouse, MAKE TIME FOR YOUR PEOPLE!
Go out on dates, eat together, share, laugh. It's good to rekindle!

6. Don't forget your passions
See, this one goes for me too. Girl, dust your instrument and play again, or pick up a new passion!
Your career isn't all of you, try to create something new. Maybe it's a language, or a sport, it is important for you not to forget your talents

With that being said, I hope y'all have an excellent evening!
Love you guys,

-KC
