Good habits before bed
Why hello there!
Long time no see y'all! Let me tell you, I went back to work a couple of weeks ago now, and I am missing all that free time I had to blog whenever. Since that's not the case anymore, I will have to push myself to drop by every now and then :)
I was thinking of skin products and makeup a few hours ago, and it occured to me to write about good habits both girls and guys should start in order to have more beautiful, clean skin. And then I thought there's more to that! Like unplugging, not checking social media all night, etc.
Anyways here's some tips I actually force myself to always do before bed;
1. Brush teeth!! Please!! Going to the dentist ain't fun, and especially hearing bad news, so do your part!
2. REMOVE ALL MAKEUP! Okay gals, nighttime is the only time your skin can breathe really. If you're like me, who simply doesn't have any more spare time and cannot follow a 3 step skin cleaning routine, then we've already become best friends! I started using face wipes instead of cleansers or scrubs and it's not only faster, but wipes cleanse way better than face cleansers. I always felt like I was just smearing oily skin and makeup with the soap and my skin never felt fresh!
3. CHANGE PILLOW CASES at least twice a week and WASH MAKEUP BRUSHES at least once a week.
4. Don't forget to take your pill. I mean let's be honest. On that note, don't forget to take your vitamins or any other med.
5. Shower/ prep the night before if you have something big the next day: Things happen and what if your alarm decides to be stupid, or you ended up snoozing for way too long? Think ahead and plan the night before if you have to bring food to work, charger, water, a tank full of gas, and other rushes that could be done now instead of tomorrow.
6. Get plenty of sleep!! (Sleep is the new sex, or so I heard). 8 hours will do.
7. If you can't sleep, try to unplug and drink some tea, find a good book or short article to read.
There's that guys. Hopefully you've already built a good routine and your adulting skills are on point. But we're all prone to fail, so don't feel bad if you aren't following things to the t.
