God honors honesty!
God honors honesty Mark 9:23-24 says: " Jesus said to him, ‘If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!’ As I read this, I ask myself: What if this guy only said "I do believe"? Yes he was telling the truth, yet his faith wasn't totally perfected and he was completely honest about it. Why? because he saw that Jesus already knew his heart, and only Jesus was able to change him right away and perform the miracle that he was waiting for a long time. God honors when we simply come to Him and say: Oh Father You know I trust You, You know I know You can do this, but I am struggling! The thing about faith is that, in order to produce its perfect power there can't be any partiality or doubt. Our humanity needs to leave completely and we take a step to the unknown, but with fully assurance that faithful is the One who called you, and He will do it! (1 Thessalo...
